The third instalment of Chihayafuru is in the list and for hardcore fans and those who have not seen the first two films, there will be a one-day-only screening for the entire trilogy at GSC Nu Sentral on 10 September 2018. The tickets will be sold separately for each of the instalments so you don’t have to pay and watch all three films if you don’t want to.

There will also be a special screening of films shot in Japan by Malaysian filmmakers — New World (Lim Kah Wai), Fly Me to Minami (Lim Kah Wai), Heart of Taiko (Shamyl  Othman & Lydia Lubon) and two shorts by Edmund Yeo who won Best Director at the Tokyo International Film Festival 2017. The screenings will held at GSC Nu Sentral as well and will each be followed by respective Q&A sessions. Admissions are free. Tickets can be booked via EventBrite.com from 30 August 2018 onwards.

Ticket sales for all the other titles will commence on 30 August 2018 as well and can be purchased through GSC box office, ticketing kiosk, GSC e-Payment at gsc.com.my or GSC Mobile App. Tickets for JFF 2018 will be sold at RM8.50 except for Ramen Heads and 3Ft Ball & Souls which will be sold at prevailing GSC ticket pricing.
