KUCHING, Feb 13: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg this afternoon received a courtesy call from Charles Holiday, the chairman and member of the board of directors of Royal Dutch Shell, at his office here today.
Accompanying Holiday were Shell Malaysia chairman Datuk Iain Lo and Shell general manager (Government Relations for East Malaysia) Jonathan Jolly.
During the meeting, the chief minister and his visitors discussed issues in the oil and gas industry and opportunities for cooperation.
Also present were State Secretary Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani, State Attorney-General Datuk Talat Mahmood Abdul Rashid and State Legal Counsel Datuk J.C. Fong.
Later, the chief minister received a similar call by the board of directors of the Development Bank of Sarawak (DBOS) led by State Secretary cum board chairman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani. Also present were DBOS chief executive officer Sim Kheng Boon. — DayakDaily
